For Alex Solis, art has always been more than something to look at; it’s a second language.
Born in Mexico and raised in Milwaukee, Alex first turned to drawing as a way to communicate when words weren’t enough. What began as childhood sketches grew into a career spanning illustration, murals, animation, designer toys, and collaborations with names like Disney, Marvel, Sanrio, and Red Bull.
For Canvas Series Drop 009, Alex brings that story full circle with a colorful, surreal world built around creativity, self-expression and connection.
THE COFFEE
Inside Alex’s bag is Red Bourbon from Uganda’s Kasese region, with notes of almond butter, raisin and prune. Combining washed and natural lots, this coffee brings clean sweetness, rich nuttiness and soft dried-fruit flavors, with hints of peanut butter and milk chocolate. Roasted fresh for BEWM and available whole bean or ground.
